Lockdown Story - The Pepper
The Pepper
On Wednesday before lunch Kieran tried one of our capsicums, an orange one. He said it tastes sweet so I tried it. a second later it started BURNED our mouth!!!
Then mum tried to lick one. her tongue was on fire. My mouth did not
STOP! burning. I ran to the kitchen and got a glass of milk to cool my mouth down.
I started to cry because it would not go away!! Once it was gone from my
mouth I rubbed my eye, my eye started to burn.
Mum put a cold face cloth on my eye.
My mouth and eye were burning for 20 minutes.
Mum gave me a chocolate egg and ice block. After the burning stopped mum and Kieran looked on there phones. Mum found out that they were Scotch Bonnets one of the fourth hottest in the world.😮
